this ampersand that
hey guys, i have been slowly adding some of my ampersand pairings over on thisAMPERSANDthat.tumblr.com. each week i release a few so you may want to bookmark that page...or whatever. anyway, today i saw my collection featured on buzzfeed. exciting! and not to toot my own horn too much in one post, but if you use the new mailbox app, a photo of mine was featured today when you clear your inbox. or #inboxzero. so all of that is really exciting news! i have more to tell, but i must fall asleep. i will finish up here in the next day or two.

hanging by a thread
i spent the better part of today making a few little garlands for the engagement party tomorrow for my brother ian and his wife-to-be, emily. today was a good chance for me to practice making these things. the options are really endless and we need to narrow down what we are looking for for their wedding, hence the multiple designs.

vintage map candle holder
supplies: mason jar, watered down school glue, paint brush, vintage maps (or any pretty paper), exacto knife.
*i do not reccomend using a real candle in this jar unless you want to burn your pretty paper. an electric candle will do.
