this is my aunt terry and her rock collection. terry has been collecting rocks for many years and you can tell by her face that they make her very happy. some of these rocks make you stop and wonder how on earth our planet created such a thing. the petrified wood, red rocks and clear glass-like rocks in the bottom left corner actually came from my grandparents ranch. a couple years ago, terry left her position/department of many years at the university of texas to work in the jackson school of geosciences simply because she "likes rocks".
